To request a program withdrawal or transfer, contact Recreation Customer Service at 905-584-2272 ext. 7327, email recreation@caledon.ca, or visit any Recreation Centre or Town Hall.

Before the start date

Withdrawal or transfer before the start date to receive a full refund to your original form of payment (subject to a $16.08 administrative fee) or a full account credit.

After the start date (for camps, training and leadership courses)

Withdrawals and transfers only permitted for medical reasons with a doctor’s notes. A full or prorated refund to your original form of payment or account credit based on the date your request is received, regardless of the number of sessions attended or date of medical note.

After the start date, but before the third session

If your program has already started, you have up until the start of the third session to withdrawal or transfer to receive a prorated refund to your original form of payment (subject to a $16.08 administrative fee) or a prorated account credit.

After the third session

Withdrawals and transfers only permitted for medical reasons with a doctor’s notes. A full or prorated refund to your original form of payment or account credit based on the date your request is received, regardless of the number of sessions attended or date of medical note.
Drop-in admissions and fees are non-refundable.

 

Missed sessions

Make-up classes, credits, or refunds for missed sessions are not available. When you register for a program, you are expected to attend all sessions as scheduled.

 

Cancellations

We may cancel individual program sessions or an entire program at any time for reasons such as low registration, facility conflicts, or instructor availability. In the event of a cancellation, we will email a cancellation notice and process an account credit refund to your account. Upon request, you may request the refund to the original form of payment and are exempt of the administration fee.

Drop-in cancellations

If a drop-in activity is cancelled, we will update the activity name in our online drop-in schedule  to "CANCELLED." We encourage you to always check the schedule before heading out to confirm there are no service disruptions, time changes, or location updates.

In severe weather conditions, we try our best to keep facilities open. During bad weather, check our website, social media, or contact Recreation Customer Service at 905-584-2272 ext. 7327 for updates on service disruptions.

 

Account credits

You can check your account credit balance on your online recreation account , or by contacting Recreation Customer Service at 905-584-2272 ext. 7327, emailing recreation@caledon.ca, or visiting any Recreation Centre or Town Hall.

Check your account credit balance

Inactive account credits under $50 will be removed from your account after one year, while credits over $50 will be removed after three years. You may request a refund of your account credit, subject to an administrative fee.
