Drop-In Fitness Activities: Flexible, one-time sessions that fit your schedule

Our drop-in fitness classes offer convenience and flexibility. With no commitment required, you can attend sessions that fit your schedule. Led by certified instructors, these classes focus on different fitness areas such as strength, cardio, and flexibility. Simply check in at the facility, and you're ready to go!

Fitness Courses (Registered Programs): Structured, multi-week programs 

For those who prefer a structured approach, we offer a range of registered fitness courses. These multi-week programs are ideal for participants who want to commit to consistent training or achieve specific fitness goals. From low-impact classes for seniors to high-energy workouts for kids, there’s something for everyone.

Personal Training

Achieve your fitness goals with a personal trainer. Having a trainer will provide a progressive plan, exercise direction and correction, plus the motivation we all need to keep active and committed.

How to Book a Personal Trainer

  • Complete the on-line personal training form
  • Purchase personal training sessions within your Town of Caledon Recreation Account
  • Complete the Get Active Questionnaire - link will be sent with your registration confirmation email 
  • A certified Personal Trainer from the Town of Caledon will contact you to set up your first appointment 
  • All sessions must be used within one year from date of purchase

Visiting our Fitness Centres

Fitness Centre Locations

Fitness Centre Hours of Operations (Town-wide)

Monday to Friday: 5:45 a.m. - 10:45 p.m.  
Saturday and Sunday: 7.00a.m. 8.00p.m.  
 
Note: The facility closes (change rooms and fitness areas) at the same time as the fitness centre. Patrons must exit the facility by the above noted times.  
 
Please review Guidelines at the facilities prior to use.  

Fitness Centre Admission Standards

  • Fitness guidelines must be followed and are posted in the fitness area.

  • No private coaching/personal training is permitted.

  • Fitness area access is permitted to those aged 11 years and older.

  • Youth (11 to 17 years of age) only have access to the Fitness area after they receive youth orientation or if accompanied by a parent/guardian.

  • A Youth Orientation Request form and Get Active Questionnaire must be completed prior to the youth orientation. These forms must be completed by the youth and parent/legal guardian at Southfields Community Centre, Caledon Centre for Recreation & Wellness or Caledon East Community Complex. 

  • Adult Orientations are available free of charge to members. We highly recommend that all participants schedule an orientation at a Recreation Facility before beginning their workouts. This session will provide an overview of the available equipment, demonstrate the proper use of machines, and explain important safety guidelines to ensure a safe and effective workout experience.

 What to Bring

Please bring a refillable water bottle and clean, close-toed indoor athletic shoesPlease leave valuables at home or lock up in the lockers provided.

Squash Courts

At the Caledon Centre for Recreation and Wellness our two squash courts are available for booking in convenient 40-minute sessions—perfect for a quick game or an intense workout. Book your court today and elevate your fitness routine.

How to Book a Squash Court

  • Book a court for your visit by calling 905-584-2272 ext. 7327. Alternatively, visit a Customer Service desk at your local recreation centre. For more information or to register, please contact recreation@caledon.ca or call 905-584-2272 ext. 7327. 

Racquet and Ball Rental 

  • Racquets and balls are available for rental for the duration of your visit. The cost is $5.00 (including tax).

  • Rental items will be disinfected between use. Please visit the Customer Service desk at the Caledon Centre for Recreation and Wellness for more information. 

Fitness Centre Access

  • When booking a squash court, you will also have access to the fitness centre for the duration of your booking.

  • Note: Access to the fitness centre and squash courts is permitted for aged 11+ years.

Walking Track at Caledon Centre for Recreation and Wellness 

The 97m indoor walking track at the Caledon Centre is open to:

  • Adults 55+ CCRW Walking Track Membership Holders*
  • Fitness Membership Holders
  • All-Access Membership Holders

*Seniors Centre Membership Holders qualify for a free 55+ CCRW walking track membership

Walking Track at Caledon East Community Complex 

The100m indoor walking track at the Caledon Centre is open to:

  • Caledon East Community Complex Walking Track Membership Holders*

  • Fitness Membership Holders

  • All-Access Membership Holders

  • Drop in Participants

*At Caledon East, Adults 55+ can enroll in a 'free' Walking Track Membership to access the track at no cost during designated times, please check our Walking Track for Caledon East schedules. For use outside of free hours, Adults 55+ can purchase a Caledon East Walking Track membership and use anytime. Please refer to the Membership page for more information.

 

Strollers will be permitted on the Caledon East Walking Track during specific days and times. Adults must purchase a Caledon East Walking Track Membership, Fitness, All-Access Membership or a single visit drop-in fee.
