The next municipal election will take place on Monday, October 26, 2026.
Caledon voters will vote by paper ballot to elect the Mayor of the Town of Caledon, Ward and Regional Councillors, and School Board Trustees to serve during the 2026 to 2030 Council term of office.

Registered Candidates for the 2026 Municipal and School Board Elections
A candidate's campaign period begins when the Municipal Clerk has received their nomination.
The nomination period begins 9:00 a.m. on May 1, 2026. The last day to change, withdraw, or file a nomination is Friday, August 21, 2026, by 2:00 p.m.
The Clerk has until 4:00 p.m. on Monday, August 24, 2026, to certify the eligibility of nominations.
