 What's New
On October 10, 2023, Council adopted Official Plan Amendment No. 274 (OPA 274), to amend the Town’s Official Plan to expand the Bolton Rural Service Centre boundary to add the Humber Station Employment Area. OPA 274 also replaces the ‘Prime Agricultural Area’ designation with a ‘New Employment Area’ designation and provides the policy framework for the development of a secondary plan (POPA 2024-0002). The secondary plan will include more detailed policies and land use designations to guide development on the subject lands, and will include policies and mapping to protect for the Future Highway 413 Corridor and Northwest GTA Transmission Corridor.
