Public Library Board
Purpose
The Caledon Public Library oversees the services and programs at all branches of the Caledon Public Library. Our vision is to be the heart of our community - building and connecting a thriving, engaged, and informed Caledon.
Membership
The board consists of seven members of the public and two Councillors. According to the Public Libraries Act, our members must:
- Be residents of Caledon
- Not be employees of the Library, or Town of Caledon
- Be citizens or permanent residents of Canada
- Be at least 18 years of age
Agendas and Minutes
The Caledon Public Library Board meets monthly at one of the library branches. Meetings begin at 6 p.m. Meeting agendas and minutes are available through the Caledon Public Library Board website.

A person or organization wishing to appear as a delegation before the Board should submit a written request to the CEO/Chief Librarian at least 10 days prior to the scheduled meeting. The request must stipulate the subject about which the delegation wishes to speak.
