The subject lands are located at 15728 Airport Road in Caledon East, located on the west side of Airport Road, north of Cranston Drive, and south of Hilltop Drive.

The Official Plan Amendment proposes to amend the land use designation from Low Density Residential to Institutional.

The Zoning By-law Amendment proposes to amend the zoning of the property from Rural Residential (RR) to Institutional – Exception XX (I-XX) to implement the proposed development. The intent of the site specific standards being proposed is to facilitate the development of a Seniors Retirement Facility with a total of 127 units consisting of a mix of unit types and levels of care.
